Staff: Sophie Wilkus

Sophie Wilkus joined Friends in April 2026. Sophie is a mom and has worked in both medical and behavioral healthcare settings and is herself a survivor of the mental health system. Sophie was born and raised in New Jersey; lived and learned in California, Oregon, Dharamsala, Yunan, and Temixco, they are passionate about liberation and the interconnected nature of personal wellbeing and social change. Sophie holds a master’s degree in health administration and is committed to pursuing administrative and health justice for our most marginalized, excluded, and exploited friends and neighbors. Sophie is also a registered AAT (auricular acu-tech) certified in providing 5 Needle Protocol as a general mental health support. Sophie is excited to build relationships and our future together.
