Staff: Daysha Denight

Daysha Denight first joined Friends Lane County in December 2021 as a Professional Mentor – Friend. She was very energized by the growth she witnessed in her kids over her three years in that position. Daysha continued her work in social services after moving to another part of the state, but chose to return to Friends as part of her Masters Degree program in counseling. In her epic return, Daysha will help support the Family Engagement Team expanding their services to include 1:1 counseling services for some caregivers and youth. When not working, Daysha enjoys traveling, spending time with her dog and cat, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
