Chloe joined Friends of The Children in October 2024 after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in nonprofit administration at the University of Oregon. During her time at UofO, she worked as a research assistant for a child development study involving parents and their young children. This position engaged her interest in working not only directly with youth, but also supporting caregivers. She also completed an internship at Ophelia’s Place where she was able to strengthen her direct interactions with youth including how to discuss the unique joys and challenges of growing up as a female presenting person. In her work as a mentor, Chloe is excited to build strong relationships with caregivers and foster the passions and interests of each youth that she has the privilege to work with.
Chloe is passionate about child development and mental health and is planning to return to school in the future to pursue a graduate degree. In her free time, she enjoys singing, cooking, and cuddling up with her shih tzu Coco.
